Back again on a small adventure on my new bicycle that I have on the train to NYC with me where I am riding the ” Bike the Five Borough’s of NYC. I am very excited to be back on my travels and adventures. It seems so long since I toured. It was really not that long ago I was touring in Central Florida with my new touring friend, Dale Sutherland… a really nice guy and Canadian redneck. Well, I am anxious to see how the bike does in this massive city. It is going to be a slow tour as the bike has twenty inch wheels and is not made to go fast but yes to go far. After the tour and going to a Yankees game , it is off to Utah. So riding to La Guardia Airport and packing the bike to fly it out to Utah. I hope my packing skills are up to par to the baggage handlers that can and will treat my baby like gorillas tossing bananas. So, what can I say about this bicycle? I have a lot fun riding it and everyone that sees it loves it. I get asked a lot of questions about it and how neat she looks and practical and also how sophisticated. The bike is practical for many forms of traveling, getting her on the train was a breeze, so much so, that I didn’t even have to take it apart and the staff at amtrak were terrific. So, in the next couple of days I will be posting some pictures and video so everyone can get my perspective on folding bicycles for touring…until then, see you on the road.
